Incomplete orders (checkout recovery)
When a shopper types their phone number at checkout but leaves without placing the order, Sohoj Dokan saves it as an incomplete order — so you can follow up and recover the sale. Store owners typically recover a meaningful share of these with a single friendly call.
Where to find them
Open Incomplete Orders in your dashboard sidebar. Each entry shows:
- The shopper’s phone number (tap to call) and name, if they typed one
- What was in their cart and the subtotal
- When they were last active on the checkout page
Following up
- Call or message the shopper — a short, polite “can I help you complete your order?” works best.
- After the conversation, mark the entry Recovered (they ordered, or will) or Dismissed (not interested). You can add a short note for your team.
- If the shopper completes their order later, the entry is marked Converted automatically.
Entries are kept for 60 days, then removed automatically.
Tip: Follow up within a few hours while your store is still fresh in the shopper’s mind. Most recoveries happen on the first day.
