Manage multiple domains

Updated

You can point more than one custom domain at the same store. One of them is the primary domain — the canonical address shoppers see in their browser — and every other domain, plus your free yourstore.sohojdokan.com subdomain, automatically redirects to it. This keeps your links consistent and avoids duplicate addresses.

Steps

  1. In your dashboard, go to Advanced → Domain. All your addresses appear in one list: the free subdomain first, then each custom domain you’ve connected.
  2. Add as many domains as your plan allows using Connect existing domain (or Buy new domain). Each new domain is verified the same way — see connect a custom domain.
  3. Find the domain you want as your main address. It must show the green Connected status first.
  4. Open its actions menu (the button) and choose Set as primary. It now carries the Primary badge, and every other domain and your subdomain redirect to it.
  5. To make your free subdomain the primary again, open its actions menu and choose Set as primary.

Note: You can also rename your free subdomain from the same list — open the subdomain’s actions menu and choose Change subdomain. Your old .sohojdokan.com address then permanently redirects to the new one, so existing links and QR codes keep working. A subdomain can be changed once every 30 days.
