Discount coupons

Coupons let you reward customers with a discount they unlock by entering a code at checkout. Coupons are an optional advanced feature you turn on when you need it.

Steps

1. In the sidebar, open Advanced and turn on Coupons. Once enabled, a Coupons page appears under Advanced.
2. Open Coupons and tap Create coupon.
3. Enter a Coupon code (for example, WELCOME10) — this is what customers type at checkout.
4. Choose a Discount type: Percentage off, Fixed amount off, or Free shipping.
5. For a percentage or fixed-amount coupon, set the Discount value. For a percentage coupon you can also add an optional Maximum discount to cap how much comes off.
6. Under Who can use it, keep it open to everyone or limit it to specific phone numbers, returning customers, or new customers.
7. Under Usage limits, set a Total redemptions cap across all customers and/or a Per-customer limit. You can also set When it’s valid (start and end dates) and a Minimum order subtotal.
8. Keep the coupon active and Save.

At checkout, customers enter the code in the Coupon field and tap Apply. The discount is shown as Coupon applied, and the order total updates right away.

Note: A coupon applies to the whole order. Use the Minimum order subtotal if you only want it to apply above a certain cart value.
